Who's responsible for the clerk's induction?

Multi-academy trusts (MATs): you might have a governance professional in the central team who provides induction for all clerks across your trust. Sometimes this might be delegated to the headteacher or the chair of governors of the academy the clerk will be working at. If you're not sure, check with your MAT governance professional or chair of trustees. 

Single academy trusts: the chair of governors or the headteacher will usually lead the induction, though they can delegate it.
